In 1984, Papa John's opened its doors with one goal in mind: Better Pizzas. We knew that with better ingredients we would make better pizzas. That goal and our promise 'Better ingredients. Better Pizzas' still exists today.
Our belief is simple: If you take care of your staff and give them the best to work with, you create superior pizzas. This is our motivation and that is why we invest more than many in our branch. This is to ensure that we consistently deliver the best pizzas and the best service.

Garlic sauce
Our special recipe for our own garlic dipping sauce is a mixture of oil and spices that goes perfectly with your favorite Papa John's pizza.
Our house sauce
Our vine tomatoes are carefully grown in rich, fertile soils in California's Central Valley and canned fresh from the garden in less than 6 hours. The recipe is a simple mix of tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, salt, sugar and a blend of spices.
Real Meat
We only use authentic superior meats for our pizzas. Our pepperoni sausage and Italian sausages are all made from real beef, pork and contain no fillers and are seasoned to give them their specific taste.
Real Cheese
If you like cheese, you'll love our own cheese. It is 100% real cheese made from high quality mozzarella - with high quality skimmed milk.
Olives
Ninety percent of our olives grow in the famous Herrera grove in Spain. High quality, superior olives that our customers love grow there.
Fresh Dough
Dough is the basis of our pizzas and that is our vision. So we ensure that the dough is the best basis for our ingredients. Our hand-rolled original dough is made in our Quality Control Centers and delivered fresh, never frozen, to our restaurants. Our recipe consists of mixing seven simple ingredients: unbleached and enriched protein flour, filtered water, sugar, soy oil, salt, yeast and extra virgin olive oil.
Freshly cut vegetables
We put a lot of effort into ensuring that our vegetables are always fresh and ripe so that they are full of flavor. Our green peppers and onions are freshly cut in our restaurants so they are crispy and full of flavor. Our Italian Crimini mushrooms are golden brown and are known worldwide for their special taste and firmness.
